E5 is now been rolled out to all pertol stations around ireland starting from next week.. no longer have to hunt for Maxol stations!!!
[/quote]

Nothing bout this on maxol website :dontknow:

Still waiting on it in Galway :angry1:

Problems are startin to role in with the E5 and the diesel verison.. my local guy has said that the there is a Food additive in the E5... the problems started showin the Diesel 1st after it been sitting for a few weeks its gettin a going off effect and getting thick.... its not as strong the E5 Petrol... He told me not to leave the car parked up for a few weeks with it in the tank, so if you have e5 in car thats parked up i suggest to get the E5 out of it..

anyone heard this too? or the feck just pulln my leg!?!?!?!

I've heard of a couple of stations where they started selling E5, put on the E5 stickers and then soon after refurbished their pumps (in preparation for "pay before you fill" I'd say which is becoming more common) and then didn't put the E5 stickers on the new pumps!

i thought it was cleared up that all maxol garages now supply only e5 unless its e85 which they seem to have gotten rid of in most places

Can you trust the E5 sticker on Maxol pumps...? :ponder2:

Anyone know if the Tymon Heights Maxol in Tallaght actually stocks E5... as I filled up there last night... but my suspicious nature has me concerned that it's marked as E5... but is actually regular shite fuel! I asked the attendent... and got a blank look...

That blank look is standard across all Maxols - a bit of staff training wouldn't go astray I think!

Pretty sure its all they distribute from their depot in Dublin Jamie so I'd imagine it is.

I've never filled up there though to be honest so can't be 100%

Hi Folks I spoke with a regional sales manager and he told me that all maxol unleaded was E5 but when I asked what petrol they had in the new Maxol station in Rochfortbridge the staff there did not know so I dont know who to listen too cheers John L.

they did so in Carrigaline (new pumps and just "unleaded" on the sticker) but they seem to have changed the stickers again and now it says "unleaded E5" (E5 is with a rather small print though)

Hi Lads.
I called maxol on wednesday and they said that their standard petrol is e5. She said its everywhere.
John
