I could travel to that place past Denis & Mary Ryans, But I'd need to fill up again after travelling to and from Clon....

Maxol Clarecastle have it, in fact they even have a big sign up saying that they sell it now! Open late, but not 24 hour.

I got an email from maxol last week and they said they had no immediate plans to supply E5 in any other garage in Cork, other than mitchelstown :ponder:

It seems that the Cork fuel depot isn't yet equipped to store E5, but Foynes is. So it can depend on which depot is supplying the garages. :dunno:
 
What about around Sligo ? is there any that have it around there seeing there will be alot of us will be up around there during the next week
 
There is NO maxol station in Sligo. There is a maxol station on the way into Bundoran in a small village called Tullaghan but not sure if it has E5 8)

The reason I said they had it Niall is that my car drove so much better after a fill up there. As Dagnut has said - Maxol are replacing standard 95RON with E5 and it is going out to ALL stations. Why would they keep supplies of E5 for only certain stations? E5 is the future and EU directives are going the way of adding environmentally aware fuels throughout Europe.

Honestly Niall, my car drove exactly how it was designed to be after putting Maxol fuel in. No hesitation, more power at lower revs, it had to be E5. I filled up in Maxol Bantry after 2 tanks from Inishannon Road and it ran like shite again... Filled up in Clonakilty Maxol and the power was back again.

I asked in all stations about it and they just didn't have a clue...

Paulo my rant this morning was at Maxol and not you hope
my post came across that way :oops: :oops:

Anyway my reason for being so annoyed was on my way to
work this morning full tank of Maxol (Wilton) and half bottle of lucas
and while flat out side by side with BMW Coupe Z4 i think ????

My knock sensor flashed so i had to ease off letting the BMW take the lead
very embarrassing :cry: :cry:..................ah well it was fun while it lasted :)

Anyway the stat's:

Engine Temp 84 c (couldn't of been better) it was nice and cold this morning !!
Oil Temp 90 c ( Fine considerring)
Boost 1.34 ( a fraction high but nothing major)
KNOCK 65 :shock: :shock:
Engine Rev :whistle: :whistle:

So looking at the stat's i think it's fair to say the only thing that let me down
was the fuel

the only garage it is avaiable in is Mitchelstown. :angry:

With regard to your query there is no immediate plan to supply E5 to any other station in Cork at present. This may change and all details regarding E5 can be found on our website which is updated daily.
