Might have found my B4!

Well lads,

I may just have found the B4 that ive dreamt about. Quick thing though, its a 2003 new shape 2.0 ltr, single turbo. It has a mean ass exhaust on it, straight through. Ya might all think im mad, but ill be usin it as a daily driver, so i will have to whip it off and repalce with a standard exhaust, cats and all. Where would ya reckon i would pick up an exhaust for not much dollar, im not bein tight, but buyin the car will clean me out after i alarm it etc. I would gladly swap for the exhaust thats on her too. Hope im puttin this in the right plaxe too!

yeah i know that b4, nice looking motor, it has a single exhaust on it yeah...best of luck with it :thumbsup:
 
Hope it all goes to plan, drivin her monday. if anyone can help me on the exhaust situation i would be greatful
 
be careful buying cars round them places off naas road lad!!!
get it checked over with a mechanic...

|Lovely lookin one dan, did you take off the standard steerin wheel yourself? would prefer to have an airbag just in case! How come your sellin up?
 
sorry stu, didnt read it properly! , anyone got a number oe email for Altezza dan? i cant p.m at the min?
 
i have 2 brand new standard exhausts at home but only back boxes, that system could be cat back on single exhaust. John b4 might still have his dual standard cat back as he recently got a powerflow or similar if i remember correctly. single exit must be a custom jobbie as i never seen them for sale anywhere. Is it loud as fook? My aftermerket setup aint too loud either:

Twin scroll spool up on the single turbos is great, would give a lot of impreza's a run for their money :thumbsup:

only downside is, aftermarket parts wouldn't be as common on the new shape compared to the other models, so if you were looking to mod it, you might find it difficult(and expensive) to get the parts you want.
 
i checked today altezza dan, its from the centre of the car down, has cat and baffle box, then goes into a straight through set up! well that what it looks like kneeling down! Ciaran is havin a look for me weds, i rang carroll & roche to see could i get a price, they can only do it if they have a chassis number! all it looking good for this baby though. I have a kenwood screen that i wanna put into the leggy though, its single din, anyone found a way of installing one even if the standard one has the a/c controls and all as one unit?

is there much drop in power from twin to single turbo?
