booked in for the nct tomorrow. it failed the last time on emissions and some small things which are now fixed . i was going to get diptane and add it .will it help or a waste of time
cheers lads :thumbs up: might give it a go dont wan the hassle of a re test .
another quick question . do i need to get an rf100 form filled in if i want to tax it from may on . have it since september but its not being on the road . will they try and charge me back tax .
We use dipitane in work as we do DOE's aswel, drop of dipitane and a scorch up the road and its okay. It wont be a massive drop but it helps in diesels, dunno about petrol cars
joe ive used dipetane on my cars before its great stuff but both mine were standard so maybe that helped,it is good stuff each division on the bottle will treat 10 litres i usually use maybe a quarter bottle and give it a good drive making sure the cat is nice and warm as said above
dipetane only works if you use the right amount as stated on the bottle, i find alot of people just throw the full bottle in thinking it will make a huge difference but it doesnt. It wont get your emissions down hugely maybe only 1-2% but them 1-2% could be the difference between a pass and fail.
