Looks strangely attractive in white... Only colour i've seen that i like, car looks crap in every other colour i've seen...
 
Price is a little steep alright but looks to have every extra in the options list.

Apart from the shape (which I still can't aceept) the dials are poxy looking, at least on the STi they look ok :eek7:
 
No bad at all. It'll be the way of the future. The STid comes out in May.

Defo a car I'll be thinking about in the future with the way the tax etc are going in this country. As I said the DTD-RS seems the way of the future.

Call me mad but I do really like it. I'd say it'll be lovely in black with gold wheels.

And with 150 PS & 350 NM TORQUE it's not going to be that slow.

If the TD-RS is 150 PS & 350 NM TORQUE then the STi-d with 180 PS will be in around 400 NM TORQUE i'd say.
 
i drove this car on saturday have to say its a nice drive,obviously hasntnt got the power

but it is pokey enough lots of torque,this white one has much nicer prodrive wheels and a wrc rear spoiler than in the first photo

and i thnk it looks really well and with the much cheaper running costs it might well be an alternative to the petrol :thumbsup:
 
I went out to Lusk Motor Group today and test drove their demo. I liked it.

As Mark said It's not an STi but it is a great handling car as I did all the round abouts in it around Lusk and was very impressed with the torque and road holding. She seem to turns in tighter then my STi.

I asked him to make me an offer on my STi and asked C&R also to see what they can do on one for me. If he price is right I might just change.
 
it says there on autoexpress that the new diesel sti will be roughly 155g/km so it would only be either 302 euro or 447 euro to tax as 302 euro only goes up to 155g/kms,thats good towards the 600 euro were paying now or the 2000 euro you would have to pay for the petrol version
