Hello there, got directed her from midnightclub. I have just bought a 00 legacy b4 gt-b e-tune wagon got it low mileage 48,000 km on clock for 3,650 euro. Am looking to find out as much info on it as i can ill be running octane boost in it until i can afford to get the fueling changed to run irish fuel. Anyone know what the difference is a e-tune model to others.

AFAIK the differences are: Longer gearing so better mpg, different turbo to spool up quicker, stiffer chassis and slightly different styling with bumpers. That could be way off the mark though as it was just what i'd read about them on another forum.

Welcome along :subaru:

Run it on Maxol E5 alone or with booster and you won't need a remap.. You will get more power out of the engine if you do decide to map though

sounds like i have got myself a nice model, the previous owner did not know what e tune was. Up her in donegal we don't have E5. But say if waa down south would ya run E5 and octane boost. Ill be using standard 95 octane but with octane boost would that be ok for now.

Should be ok. But the B4 lads will be along soon to say for sure but I think maps on B4's are normally only done to eliminate VOD between the turbos.
