hey there guys i hope everyone is doing great, wanted to thank you all for the great effort in the forum and i would love to gain experience from you guys in regards of maintaining my wrx.
i recently posted earlier that i suspect a exhuast leak but i can not pinpoint it. there was a large drop in power but i did not know the source of it until i changed my airfilter which was restricting air (alot) and noticed a diffrence after changing it however, there is still a slight drop and i have not found the time yet to take it to the mechanics. Mileage is about 123000 km and last tbelt was in on 75k i ordered in a gates performance package and i noticed that the tmic hosing is in very bad shape (taped and w*****) so i ordered a set of houses i was thinking of changing the gear oil as well as the front diff and rear diff fluid. there appears to be an unregistered small knock on idle very faint you would barely even see it when the hood is open and you are watching the engine work (vibration wise as a knock can be easily seen on a boxer) and i t only appears after the engine is hot after a run ? i would lile to hear your opinouns and would you reccomend c & roche for carrying out that service work
