I bought a car in london, drove it home all the usuall, but didn't get log book, the garage lost it, so had too re-apply and the whole lot too get it, was nearly 3 months without it,
I was just honest with the guards about it, kept all documentation and they said just to get it as soon as possible as i'll just be in hassle,
Also rang the guards in sligo, just so they would know, if they rang they'd see i was being honest

i had mine 3 days and i got pulled they still sent me the fine even tho i had my insurance and all documents showin that i had just vrted it 3 days before it. depends on the guard cause this one was just out for anything on anyone she found
