Opinions on this Legacy lads please

Was up there friday and had a good look around that car-its in very good nick-and the front bumper fits as if factory-just a slight dent on passenger side front door and a few ripples on drivers side. But very very clean car and a good lookin one too. Also have a mint white blitzen model there. worth a look too

Thanks. Never driven a Legacy so Im curious about the VOD thing.

the vod will be noticeable straight away on a test drive as the car will be cold and they will probably have sh1t petrol in it. tell them to let the car warm up for at least 5 mins or untill the temp needle is near half way, if this is not posible try to get it up to temp on the test drive. unless you have sufficient road you might not get to feel what the vod does as the first turbo is usually quick enough on our roads, on my daily drive to work for instance i rarely use the second turbo. if your interested in gettin a leggy and ye want a decent test drive gimme a shout and ye can take mine out for a good run, my car is standard so should be a good example of what there like.

Thanks for the info northdublin. If Im refused a test drive tomorrow I will take you up on that offer.

Can be a pain-but you learn to drive around it. Boost will die off at 4000rpm then come back in as both turbos spin together. These are very comfortable cars and dont feel as quick as they are-so watch the speedo! Might be worth doin a check for trouble codes with the black plugs under the dash if you can and check the condition of the brake discs-can glaze over on slow boat from japan.

Had a look at that on Friday myself and as b4 soon said it is a very clean looking car. Very nice example of a Legacy. As Mick said, car is there for you if you want a test drive. But they are usually ok in that garage for letting you take a car out. He let my mate take an Evo out on Friday as long as i left my key with him.

car looks very clean  the wheels are different but they are nice i like them

also love that leather interior, if anyone wants to get me a xmas present ye know what to get........

go for it man

I've the auto if ye want a spin dude! or else straight swop for your car wont go a stray either!!!!

Either way, id say you'd miss the impreza or are you getting rid of it?

I was going to see if the garage would consider a straight swap for mine. With the current price of cars I probably wouldnt get much more than 9k for mine anyway.

i think they are all B4 RSK, not sure!!

No VOD on the new shape Legacy! hink they have 1 or 2 there, maybe drive both and compare the 2. you can have a spin in mine if you want :653:

Maybe an idea to keep an eye out for a leggy with a blown engine, and go for a more modern single turbo conversion!
I realy like the leggy's very grown up compared to your type r!
Dan

Fair play!
On a serious note Andy surely you would be safer swapping with some one from the site so you know that you are getting a car from someone who knows how to look after there scooby!
Really worth thinking about!
Dan

Have to say thats is a lovely looking b4, making me want to improve mine more. Once kept in standard form the legacy a very comfortable cruiser and will put most of the idiot vw and audi tdis to shame with just a quick prod of your right foot.

Test drive once warmed up will sell it to you no probs

Andy, Given I've no job I'll be around al day tomorrow if ya wanna take a spin in mine. She's mapped for E5, and the VOD barely noticeable! I'll PM you my number

i know a lad here that has one like it, its a b4 rsk infiny or infinity or something like that.
has the extras like them leather seats and the spats on the rear bumer and sideskirts.
so he reckons anyway.
