Just got back from my honeymoon...

Nassau, Bahamas- regular unleaded: $5.00 USD/gallon ($1.31 USD/Liter) (Bahamian Dollars are 1:1 USD) = €1.05/liter
Tampa, FL- regular 87 octane (sh*t fuel) $3.20 USD/gallon ($0.84 USD/Liter) = €0.67/liter


I think it's all a big game... I've seen prices as low as $1.70 USD/Gallon in 2008... and then $4.90 USD/Gallon in Missouri. That makes it like €0.38/liter!

Though, the other direction freaks out Americans.. €1.75/liter becomes $9.31 USD/gallon *when the euro was $1.45 each!!!!

Most of my calculations were based on a quick estimate of 3.8L per gallon and the current exchange rate of .8 euro / USD.

A guy can only dream of those prices here, we'll never see normal unleaded down to €1.05 ever again
