Power steering pump

glad to hear the saga is nearly over for you. the perks of owning a jdm car

For sure. Second JDM car. Previous was a Toyota and we had a great contact in North Shore Toyota New Zealand where the OEM prices were around half of those from Toyota Ireland so buying parts were never an issue. He can also source Subaru parts so i contacted him. He could source the Subaru OEM part for €765 from Subaru Japan without shipping. He was a great contact to have and could be useful to the forum for other OEM parts.

That would invovle customs and excise duty etc. So a lot more expensive.

We can supply Brand new Genuine Subaru for ?689.00 all in.

We can supply any genuine jdm car part once still available for all JDM Marques.

Thanks Fozzy. Just found this one but not sure what he means by "pull off". Matches the part number i need.

well having bought this and shipped from the states and then Ciaran installing it in the car i was disguisted to hear him calling me to say it was useless and was beyond useless. couldn't even turn the wheel. He had to install the old one back in the car while i search again for another. Not sure what i can do about the pump and then the seller of this. I sent an ebay mail but not holding my breath.Says comes with a warranty of 1 month but won't help me when i have to pay Ciaran for his time too for installing 2 power steering pump. Not happy/:shock2::shock2::shock2:

Now some photos of the part that came that was faulty. Seems the same from the photos but maybe someone might confirm this?

Hi would it not be possible to get your original one rebuilt if it?s very costly to replace with a brand new one I got two rebuilt on different cars over years no problem with them surly there is someone can rebuild

I'm not opposed to getting it refurbished however the one i bought was supposed to be that but did not work out at all.

My thinking on that would if you leave your own in to a place to get done they have to stand over it

I have used drive shaft services on long mile road a few times for one pump and drive shafts always very helpful

Go to Dave at RSR and get this done and out of the way. Refurbed or new. Trust me, it'll be done in a day. I got one from him previously and it's been perfect since. My whole pump was leaking but chances were that it was the o-ring but fack it.
