Rear driver's side window won't go up??

Hi lads,

I've a weird one. The rear driver's side window won't go up??
Goes down no probs.

Even from the driver's controls it does the same....down, no up.

All the other windows are fine.

I had to take the doorcard off to get it back up. I got a motorcycle battery and was able to jump the motor. Widow does up and down fine depending on the + / - I use so I know the motor is good and the glass is running fine along the runners.

Last thing I tried was to swap the left door switch with the right but no joy.
It's hardly a fuse is it? Kinda stumped as wnat to try next??

Any ideas??

must be a problem with the wiring to the motor!!!!

But from where do you think?
If the driver side button and the rear button fail to make is go up where do ye think is the culprit? Both buttons work fine (going down that is!)

possibly not getting 12volts from the switches to the motor!!!
strange one that!!!
i'll have the door panels off mine 2moro....
i'll have a look at the wiring!!!

I've attached the power windows wiring diagram if that helps?
Makes no sense to me....may as well be looking in a ditch!

didnt this car have wiring probs before you bought it???
nothing to do with windows if i remember but maybe connected to something else!!!!

It did indeed. I'll just have to trace each wire and check the continuity.
I was hoping for an easy fix.

Will give me something to do Sat morning when hungover.
