Right I'm off for my rolling road

I dont see any reason to have a piggy back ECU put onto an already ECUtek'd ECU. I stand corrected though.

I do have ecutek , piggyback is just another option :dontknow:
don't know what to do but what ever it is I only wanna do it once and do it right

you talk about installing a sports cat,
is the cat still in the downpipe at the moment?

As above, is the car still catted?

You'll notice a big difference with your sports cat...

ecutek is a piggy back ecu,
:ponder2: :ponder2: ECUtek is a memory reflash of the stock ECU so how is it a piggy back ?

An Apexi SAFC2 or AVCR is a "piggy back" ECU because it attaches to the stock ECU and alters signals going to it.

sorry andy my mistake your right!

i dont think the ecu is the trouble doh

gav,
did martin treacy give you any ideas as to why the engine is not performing to the best of its ability???
was there anything on the graph that he commented on like nick in CDA does???
:dontknow: :dontknow:

he was surprised him self, he did say take a look at the timing as i had the cam belt done, after that he said to look in to the ecu side of things :dontknow:

thanks guys:
this is the way im going to go:
1.timing check - tomorrow
2.buy TD04H
3.buy catless up pipe
4.install sports cat
5.install EBC
6.remap and rolling road
7.sell vf35

thats the new action plan

I don't think it's a good comparison using 2 different rolling roads to compare the car.

I don't think it has 'gained' any horsepower from the last time it was down at ours.

I agree with Martin. It is running a lot of boost and not really making any horsepower.

that's a fair point nick didn't think of that ,
tbh , the figures are close

Ive a lot of researching to do :ponder2:

The figures aren't really if you think about it. Almost 10% higher.

I'd be looking at the map in the ECU. There's no reason for running such high boost for 213 horsepower.
