Scumbags and dead batterys.... UPDATED WITH PICS OF DAMAGE

Just be on your guard round Kildare and Carlow area....
My car is only still here today cause it had a dead battery last night.

I was going to take christmas decorations over to the mother in laws last night where they are stored. went to start the car and battery was dead...... So thought tugboat it ill sort it tomorrow......

Went out this morning in the wifes car and as I drove away i thought my car looked a bit odd.... thought nothin more of it and headed off to the hospitalfor the wifes checkup....
came home and went to start the impreza to take the stuff over to the mother in laws and noticed the christmas tree in its box had been taken out and put on the grass.......
Noticed the wind deflectors were broken on both sides....
then opened the drivers door and looked at the steering colum.... not broken but very very bent and out of shape....

doesnt seem to be any other damage but not going to take a proper look till the local garda have been out....

Have it booked in (since last night) this week to get the alarm fitted and all.....
My own fault for not having the alarm on already.... but what can i say??? Money just wasnt there.

I recon they were spooked aswell!!! but thank fuk the battery was dead

Sorry to hear mate not a day goes by without something gettin stolen, if ya go on to dtd or mnc theres something missing everyday.

Are you out in the woods Hammie or in a town

Yea at least its still there and there isnt alot of damage done.... I have a plan to make sure they dont get it tonight cause if they were spooked the likelyhood is they may return and try again.....
Oh and i think ill have wireless cameras installed round the place over the next few days so if they do come back ill get them on video aswell!

Then not only will the garda get a copy of the video but i guarantee they will regret their actions....

chap up here has an evo 9 had it in the side of his house an had his passat behind it
they broke into the evo had it ready to go but couldn get the electronic handbrake off
the passat its like my passat if you dont have the key you cant turn off the handbrake

ah jaysus lads he was fair lucky too...
thankfully he didnt loose his motor aswell!! I was luckier than him cause they didnt even get mine started...

gards cant even come out here today to note the damage done..... not enough garda on duty or something.
really not a happy man at the moment....

:angry1: :angry1:sorry to hear this hammie least it's still there i know it's not much of a consultation but could have being worse .lads it doesn't matter where your living, in town or out the country scumbags are everywhere .a good alarm and immobiliser is a good start.

Mad the way a dead battery saved your car!(not many people can say that now).

Now i just have to find my f&*kin battery charger.... I had it last week and now i dont know where the F$%k i put the blastid thing.....

Ya wouldnt half know there is a full moon tonight..... NYE, Babys due today, Unsecure car outside, Battery flat as a pancake and battery charger missing........

Whats next haha

Unfortunately with the laws in this country tho it would have been in the news papers you would have been reading it instead of here on the forum.....

Alarm all fitted and working lovely....

Need a new battery but nowhere open to get 1 today!
turns out the battery wont even hold a charge now.....

Alarm probably going to wreck my head today till battery is changed and sorted out....

anyway Car is not a hell of alot safer than it was and i can relax a bit.
