looking through photos and theres actually none i have from the side,dont know where the hell i put them,il take another few,
i bought it from a chap in navan around 04,cant remember his name,i paid good money for it considering how much ive driven her without an ounce of problems,i got her with white advan alloys,cuscos all round but pretty standard,
i never forget the only things that bothered me during the sale,a slight dent on the passenger door and a missing grill insert with no pink sti emblem either,i done a job on it myself as seen in the picture and its remained like that up to this day,,never forgot that he had one wiper blade on the car too,yes i did add another one :wtf:still love the car,
if you did import it it would be great to hear any stories about the car,if any,cheers

i know where the hell are they all gone
i remember i was going to buy another white 97 type r at the time,a chap from bagenalstown in carlow,she had a carlow reg with black alloys on her,he wouldnt nct her at the time and i didnt want to take the risk,a week later this one came up,im glad i held out.
i have decided only today after trawling the internet that im going to spray her the exact same colour,i dont want to depreciate the car in any way,blue would be nice....but not nice enough to fu*k my baby up

Brian, yeah myself and another chap used to import we called ourselves GT Central, I knew I recognised the reg, it's because I VRT'd it. Should have auction pics of it somewhere actually can you give the last numbers of the chassis and if i have paperwork belonging to it I will dig it out

jesus i knew i joined this site for a reason,that would be fantastic,a few pics would be great for the archives,im abroad at the moment working,back next month but as soon as im home il send it on,cheers,in fairness the chap i bought it off done fu*k all,he must of took it from you and passed it onto me in no time,i certainly dont regret buying her. 150k miles on her now with no rebuilds and very little cosmetical work done either.great to know where she came from

yes i always knew the front end was replaced,actually beven might be able to tell me if she came into the country in original form,i was always suspicious that she got a minor hit up the front because of the change,or maybe somebody was going for a more updated look,along with the spoiler,
either way,if im going to restore her properly,bringing her back to original form would be the only way to do the car any justice.............are they that rare here now,i havnt seen one in a long time myself,i guess all the parts i need should be in the country some where.
