jus gathering info

Good man mac mac

I think your best source of info here is kanye from the west & nic spec c. They're both looking at something along these lines at the moment and spend every waking hour over on nasioc researching.

Ciaran RS RA might be able to help too, he was talking about crazy offset wheels at the Christmas Pro-parts meet

just gathering info

Hi Mac Mac, I've been onto wheeldude. He reckons for 18x9 et35 to fit my sti suspension I'll need camber bolts to change my camber to -2 degrees, Arches lip rolled flat and he recommends 235/40/18 wheels. They'll be stretched a small bit.

Wheeldude takes ages to reply to my emails so still waiting on a shipping cost. Got one off him last year that was around $550.

Can any tire place stretch a tire ?

Sure just take 5mm off the offset and put 245/35's on the 9" rims!
2deg neg camber is slightly on the agressive side! tires would be pricey enough!

I'd say the 2 degree is for if your car is really low. If I get these wheels i dont intend going as low as them as i dont want to be dodging every stone on the road

I use 1.5deg neg for the road and it does wear slightly but noticably on the inside!
I use 3deg neg on track and it lashes tires out of it, but she turns in beautifully!
Can you get those wheels with any offset??
It would be well worth trying a few different spacers to figure out the best off set!
I'd get a geometry setup first so your camber is set and then try some spacers!

To get that degree of Concaveness the offset needs to be 35 or 30

I see!
In that case, I'd get the 35 and fit wider tires!
I fitted my 20mm spacers a few days ago, Some difference, I've had the silver track wheels on her since I fitted the spacers,
They are 7.5" wide and they sit out very far, just right I'd say,
My black wheels are 8" wide, so may be a bit much! I'll let you know how it works out!
Dan

I'm sure they can!
And a stretched tire feels better than an oversized one!
No tire flex at all!
Dan

cheers for all the info lads ,

lookin on wheeldude and 18x9 gforce $900 + $600 delivery = $1500 for jus the rims which is about 1100 yo yo s

@ dan , plan would be to get it all done in one go , wheels +geometry setup
