Tyres

Gents,
As a matter of interest where do you all get your tyres fitted once you've got them from Camskills or otherwise?
I don't want some butcher hammering weights into my wheels to balance em!

Rob

Where are you based?
I know JOMO fit and balance!
I don't know if anyother traders do??
Dan

I would travel (a reasonable distance) for a decent fitter. Nothing like a nice drive home on fresh rubber! :D Where are JOMO based?

I got federal 595rs I think they are on Friday. Tyres cost me €400 all in. Seems to be good grip of them

I got 4 nankangs for 365 quid, supplied and fitted. Grip is ok but the car is eating them... Only got them to do me until the car is fixed up though, then i'll be getting me some toyo's

i got two ne tyres on the front over the weekend, dunlops and the dick that fitted them put weights all over the outer rim. do the weights ballance the tyre or do they ballance the wheel. its seriously sh1t looking and ied be looking to getting it done again if posible

Anyone know how much Jomo charge for fitting and balancing tires and wheels?

I can't pm him as my membership hasn't gone through yet. Any idea on a ball park figure?

15 a wheel, or 50 for 4. Balanced with slimline stick on weight's, all placed inside the wheel. No butchering

John

Thanks John :headbanger:, I'll have to call down to you at some stage. Whenever I get my car back :wall:
Anyone know anything about Maxxis tires? I know they make good MTB tire but that's as far as my knowledge goes. Or should I just go with Toyo?

I got a set of Eagle F1's from Proparts last week and they are lovely, quiet and great grip!! €500 supplied and fitted

I've a set of Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas on their way to me at the moment, supposed to be the bees knees so will let you know once they're fitted how good they are.

had them on my e30 coupe, lovely looking tyre, if there the same type. dear fecking yokes.

Yeah they're a bit more expensive than the toyo or goodyear but they're supposed to be as good as it gets in the wet, and I'm not overly confident in the wet after some scary moments so was willing to pay a little extra.
