i got all the above and more and only pushing 355hp.. :ponder2: anyhow, ill try and get a fuel presure regulator this saturday see if makes a f all diff.... :ponder: :new_gmorning:

apparently its normal for the bust to kick after 4500revs with a tdo5 20G on a 2000cc engine :comp26: didnt kno that... :hammerhead:

I wouldnt bother putting a pressure reguator on it wont make F all difference other than make it use more fuel. If the pump and the injectors are up to the job you should be fine.

There’s a thread on scoobynet, a lad insatll'd a fmic, really loved the set up, shorter pipes and cold Intec into the snail, the side of the turbo and the MAF was relocated on to the intercooler pipes  fukn mental, claims it helps spooling the turbo faster, he got 450hp and 485 torque f me :hammerhead:, wil post the thread later, maybe try that set up on my car....

Out of a 20g? :ponder2: Why is the torque higher must be a 2.5?

Your not seriously thinking of trying to get 500 on a standard engine?

Buy a new Billet 20g off Andy F, that will sort you out, no more fookn around with crappy turbos, just be glad it didnt fall to pieces and into your engine.
Scoobyclinic have some nice billets aswell, but i think the Andy F one works out cheaper

a 500HP turbo used at 420 would be horrible, You want to keep lag to the minimum

naaa KEN, i wont, was thinking to get a turbo that can handle 500hp but limit it to 420hp, if that was possible, think ill be going to Andy for one also, need a proppa one, no more copies.

agree with you on that Mac but prices on MD321H is £1300 :hammerhead: but if i get stuck then yeah ill have to get it, im gonna reach 400 mark one way or the other :545:

Vitalie,
Nice to meet you again today, just picking up on this. In your quest for 400 - 440hp the extra 40hp (440) will involve engine work steel rods and forged pistons :ponder: To stay around 400hp twin port 650cc injectors, tubular headers etc. The original top mount intercooler on the Bugeye STI's can handle up to 450hp once matched to the correct turbo. Let us know how you get on anyway

hi Steve, good to mee you again mate, i think the sti's came with with forged pistons (i think :ponder2:) but they good as they are up to 400- 420hp.

At moment she's 355 with 275tourque and coz of the lagg bust is kicking at 4500revs, but with a good turbo should get more torque and full bust at lower revs, its a nightmare at moment :comp26: i have to keep her constantly on high revs to feel the power, almost got done by a 2005 BMW 530 tdi last night, they have crazy torque at low rev, animals they are :shock2:

So 400hp and circa 390 torque will make me happy and later maybe a forged engine, day after day this looks like a reality... :beerbang:

That wouldnt be really accurate man, lots of newage cars running 450bhp on standard internals in UK, Also no need for Tubular headers either
