KENC said:I dont understand how a dry solder joint fixed itself, i wouldnt hold my breath on it not happening again if this is the problem
Codders said:I had similar issues with my Apexi FC. It kept not responding on several occasions and then after a while it fired up properly again.
Unfortunately after a few months it died completely.
Fingers crossed it won't happen with yours Baz..![]()

KENC said:If you got someone good to check out the board for you and find the dry solder joint and fix it before it becomes an issue, it could save you possibly getting stranded somewhere
KENC said:As far as i know they can be easy enough to spot as they are dull and not shiney..I would be just worried it may burn out another component thats not replaceable or worse again damage the board itself, maybe you man could have a look at it for you.
KENC said:any time ive ever been near anything with a dry joint, you cant really work with that old solder anymore, it needs to be removed and nice new shiney solder used.. very easy to over heat the Board aswell trying to remove it. Think i would get someone to look at it for me, be a glockenspiel to mess it up.
