Driving along today handy in the phenix park and the car died.Managed to get it started again and get it home. She was showing fault codes on the dash check engine light so i plugged in the laptop. The internal map sensor is gone in the ecu.Dont know what to do now. :icon_cry:

I might need to send the ecu to Autronic for them to repair it.They might not even touch it because I didnt buy it.I'll price it up and see.A new ecu and remap is not really an option at the minute

Yeah I have a post up on their support forums so hopefully can get sorted, from reading some threads there seems to be a quick turn around on repairs so thats good news

Sorry to hear that Baz, hopefully you get sorted asap

I thought it was going to be a lot worse when i saw the thread title so could've been worse, chin up

Sorted :multijump:

I took the ecu out to get a part number for the map sensor for Joe Power who offered to fix it, left it out of the car for a few hours , just put it back in to double check. Turned igntion on, cleared the faults and she fired up .Took it for a drive and seems to be 100% .I dont know what was going on with it , was chatting to Joe and he reckons it might have been a dry soldered joint and just by me taking it out and refitting it could have sorted the problem :ponder2
