wats my v3 worth testin the water at the min

Selling up already...Its hard to say what any subaru is worth these days..You could get someone looking for something exactly like yours and pay the asking price but to be honest with you unless its someone who knows the car or someone off her you gonna get low balled..6500 is prob a bit high..I bought my v5 type r for a good bit less than that a while ago and id consider it one of the decent ones left.

i know there is some for as little as 4grand but there bog standard im jus testin the water in 2 minds with it

Its defo worth more than 4k anyway..I was interested in your car when chris was selling it..its a nice car and quick from what ive heard. No harm in leaving it up for that price and seeing what happens if your not in a rush to sell..you never know.

Realisticly it's only worth 4.5k, but you would be mad to sell it for that. They just ain't worth what they used to be. Stick to your guns though

Its the price that v5 and v6 Type r can be got for is what dictates everything. You see what Billys looking for his one and it looks a minter, considering yours is the older model, older dash etc etc, i think the figure Brian said is fairly much it, i know you have the engine built but its unlikely its going to bring in extra money for you. Hold onto it.

Yea, see a mint looking black v5 on donedeal for 3800!!!, with gearbox grinding a bit going into 5th, common problem

id say it will be gone tomorrow

You splashing out? clean looking bus.. cant beleive how cheap things are gone.. depressing for sellers

That black one would be just a sincromess problem. Easily fixed. With cars like this coming up for sale your dead in the water looking for big money for your car regardless of what mods you have done. You will have to price her for what she is a V3. But at that you'd be better off keeping it.

ill hold onto her me thinks  that v5 is very cheap wonder y and how come he wont fix 5th gear :dontknow:

whats an english spec Ger????, only english 2dr ever ever was a P1. and the UK 22b

That guy probably has seen what a mint 100% working Type R can be got for, and has weighed up what his is worth with gearbox trouble, if it costs 500 to fix, doesnt mean you will get only 500 less, you take a big hit when anything is wrong, a lot more than it would cost to fix in most cases.. Lots of guys can work out better to break there car.
That car, is probably v4 with v5 bits, but at least it has the newer interior, going back to the older interior would be a real killer to me and i think really effects your selling price.
Its not a nice situation Ger, and we are all stuck in it, i faced dilema was i mad to continue my build, seen as do my gear box and new short motor are standing me around 7500 alone, and i could get a Bug sti for that money now... imagine been given a choice of a bottom end, 6spd, diff and prop sitting on a pallet or a Bugeye STI :hammerhead:

there are alot of bangers out there too lads. That black one on donedeal looks clean but has anyone actually seen it in the flesh? alot of the cheaper type rs on donedeal look a bit on the rough side and havent been mapped etc etc..there are bargains to be had but i reckon youd get half decent money for a good example if your patient and wait for the right buyer..Id defo pay a bit extra for a clean one thats had a rebuild and mapped etc etc and preferably club owned.
