I got it sprayed in a bodyshop in carlow called Pratts autobody, really happy with the end result, perfect match and is as new again, no money changed hands for it either as was done as a favour!!

Fitted new heater vents and coin and cup holder.

Yeah Keith mine has a little bit of a knack to getting it opened. But it's handier than leaving coins in the cup holder in the centre console.

Ah well out with the jump lead. After taken the pic of battery yesterday fir Jamie decided i'd better start it been a while. No joy how long would a good battery last in a car that's not been used. Without drip feeding?

Life span depends on several things:

1) what kind of battery (different technologies are better for "deep-cycles" and others better for "high-crank") e.g. Acid-Lead vs Calcium Silver
2) what quality battery (good vs cheap make)
3) temperature - e.g. a flat acid-lead battery can freeze easier and that causes damage like plates moving and touching due to ice which then means battery shorts itself and cannot hold charge.
4) age... limited life and efficiency reduces over time... actual time again dependent on 1 and 2.
5) maintenance - mainly applies to acid-lead -- don't let the acid level go down to where plates are exposed as they oxidize and that's permanent damage. Also, when filling only use demineralised water, not tap water!

Typically for all though, when storing car and not regularly using, you must either drip feed it / put permanent "intelligent" charger on, or fully disconnect battery so there is no drain. If you let it fully discharge you will significantly impact the life span no matter what battery it is (from reducing life to killing it outright).

Gave the car a bit of a going over yesterday
De-tarred
G3 permanent scratch remover
Autoglym super resin polish
Autoglym hd wax

Came out earlier to the roof after being riddled with bird sh!t and then came the rain!!! :banghead it beaded up nicely though!!!!

took it out on a good spin today haven't driven it since last week when i bought it , had all alloys reburbed and spray gun barrel grey and upgraded 4 pots with grooved discs from godspeed fitted 3 days ago

Seen you crossing the customs house bridge today at about 1:45

Forester looked well on the new wheels

Seen something similar on the Quays too.
Nice sound of it too,
But nearly sure there was a female driving it.
Think it was Thursday.
