Shiny part needs other shiny bits next to it, get it clean JohnnyFitted a new alternator on the legacy wagon today, hit 182,000kms during the week and it started getting noisy and the odd flash of lights on the dash, only took 10 minutes to fit it happy days..

Thats one thing I've never tried. I've used grease removers and engine cleaners, APC etc..Tfr (traffic film remover) does the same job . The price of dry ice blasting is stupid as only cleans dirt and nothing else![]()
Works great, often done it myself. Tyre dressing would you believe works great also, and as you said, leave dry in, then buff off after a few hoursGet engine warm and spray a matt dressing or dashboard cleaner on. Close bonnet. Leave it. Open bonnet. Clean and shiny.
Nice, what brand was it again? RCM?Eventually got my exhaust manifold.
It’s very shiny!
Jesus no!! That stuff was well above my budget!!Nice, what brand was it again? RCM?
I know the way, dreading putting mine back through with emissions. Took 3 attempts last time and passed on 4th. Hopefully no issues this time!Had a nice spin today to work and back with no fumes coming into the cabin.
Manifold has done the job.
Dreaded test on Sunday and it will not hold revs at 2500rpm.
Loved the drive today and made me love the car again but this test anxiety just makes me hate it!
