What did you do to your car today?

Tyre leader. I priced them from a local tyre place and they were upwards of 170 a tyre.

I paid 111 for each tyre. Camskill are cheaper at 105 per tyre but their shipping is more expensive

Did you try openeo? That price sounds expensive?

50 euro cheaper if your running 215/45/17.....

Ah ok, bigger wheels.fantastic tyres you will be very pleased in the wet or dry.
Run the same on my car for years.they don't wear at all like softer tyres.
What's the going rate on fitting 4 tyres these days?

I have no experience with the asymmetric f1's but had the v pattern f1's a good few years ago on the b4. Never lost grip well except for the snow :)

Are the asymmetrics even better than the v pattern f1's.

I think its about 10-15 a corner but when I'm good friends with a tyre fitter he just throws them on, aligns and balances them for me.

Chalk and cheese!!!
10 times better!

I'll let you come back and tell us what you think of them.

Not being funny... But scrub them in first.
Quick spin of the wheels and after that go through a few medium twistys at slow pace to bed all 4 in.

Don't expect to go flat out down the road and turn in and expect grip at the first hard corner you meet!!

Top Advice there Graham!

See lads do it all the time... local lad only few weeks ago.
Got new rubber, went haring down the road and then rang to get a tow out of a ditch...

All tyres have lubricant to stop them sticking to the mould and machines during production.
Takes 50-100kms to scrub off and get full grip with normal careful driving.

Scrubbing-in tyres is a must to get full grip.

paid final installment of insurance , hopefully when policy is up i can get a cheaper quote as an existing insuree this time around .

also little bit of a scare the other night on route home . lil flick to avoid a small manhole cover ,all of a sudden traction was lost and sliding towards far side ditch , bit of correction with steering wheel and accelerator , this way, that way this way . managed to settle it back in centre of road and proceeed to crawl home a lil bit shook . bit of an eye-opener how easily it can happen . so be safe out there lads !!

Cheers lads delighted with how she turned out I have to let the front Coilover down half an inch tomorrow so that the front wing will sit on the rim like the rear plus getting the rims re powder coated the same Bronze as the air tank and fromt mount Intercooler pipes which will make a nice suttle change and then I'll be happy for now I did get an offer of €25000 for it yesterday morning not long after putting it on Facebook but she is going into fast car magazine and Japanese performance mag first not letting some one else take the credit for it lol
@graham this kit is just shy of €5000 between buying and fitting it
@keith this kit is the latest airlift 3H digital kit so it only comes on when needed the tank is always full plus no 1 i upgraded the compressor to a 444 litre rather than the 380 that comes standard plus no 2 I added a second one so the tank is set to take 180 bar pressure so with the second compressor it fills the tank in just under 40 seconds so your not listening to a compressor going 90 in the booth recking your head lol
