Ordered a new fuel filter. Experiencing some shaking on idling and it's becoming hard to start when cold. Definitely not spark plugs as I fitted some Denso's before Summer. Should be with me next week.

With those symptoms I'd check the Idle Control Valve as it might need a clean rather than fuel filter.

edit:
Another thought might be Tumble Valves getting lazy and about to act up possibly (as just saw you're driving a Hawk), though would still check ICV 1st.

Good idea. Will be no harm to replace filter anyway.

Took my wheels off and have the tyres stripped and gone for powder coating this morning

New speakers Clifford serviced and a few extras switched on and something to let me know where it is all the time ????
