Today I - failed the nct 
Nothing major this time, surprised they failed me on it to be honest. Some rust on 2 thin bits of metal at the rear corners behind the bumper, not sure what you'd call them. I'll have to get a pic. Not part of the sub-frame itself. Anyway nothing major, visual re-inspection required after I get it patched up. Emissions were very very close, sound tester in fairness said he put it through a couple of times until he got the right result (and he did - I could hear it from the waiting room), I think he had a bit of a soft spot for the oul Subarus, got a lot of questions about it when booking in.

Went for a little spin today to get ice cream after another day of trying to sort out my garden, made a change as had just been using it to go to the shops recently.
