What did you do to your car today?

Yeah, I get that. I'll be the same, but it's good, when it goes back on it'll be all new to us again 🤣🤣

Finally got the exhaust manifold back on, ran sweet as a nut….. then fired on the engine light!
Drove it to work for a clear out…
No change!

Usual air/fuel lambda fault came back up.

Had a spare one and blew all the NF dust off it and fitted it.
Fired it up and drove it home, no light on.

Before all this I’d tried all usual places for a new lambda, best I could get was 340 from Poland. ICP out of stock but with import duty be way above the other price if it even was in stock.

So I asked a pal in work who knows many things!

His knowledge of parts frightened me and all the websites he knows!

Long story short… he made a call and I’d a new denso air/fuel lambda arrive the next day for 170 euro.

A spare for another day 😀

NCT booked for Saturday week.

Very good man, sorted 👍
Hopefully through NCT now first time and get her out to events til I get a gawk at her lol

That's the job, there's nothing worse than trying to find a part for a reasonable price the way things are today

Lowered the rear with wine springs. About a half a swimming pool worth of French vino in the back. Glad i made the totally unsensible choice and brought this over instead of the diesel couch-on-wheels. Owner and car thirst well catered for between the cheap wine and 98 Ron @1.68 a litre.

Looks great there Stephen, great gloss, great choice to bring it, lots of roads you'd regret not having it on otherwise lol

Roads were great, speed limits not so much, so many 30kmph zones it's not funny. Funny though, I was conscious of the exhaust driving in and out, met a neighbour lady this morning, nearly 70 I'd say and first thing she says is "I like the sound of your subaru, my son has one". Universally loved wherever we go eh!

Brilliant, love to hear that lol

I wouldn't either to be honest, seen a gorgeous white one with speedlines yesterday local to me, they're a lovely car. The more I see em, the more I like em lol
