Had a good listen to it on the way home yesterday, MAD is the wordI'll miss the popping and banging though
Music loud,windows up & I could still hear it every time you gave it a bit of shoe....
Had me smiling all the time
Finally got the exhaust manifold back on, ran sweet as a nut….. then fired on the engine light!
Drove it to work for a clear out…
No change!
Usual air/fuel lambda fault came back up.
Had a spare one and blew all the NF dust off it and fitted it.
Fired it up and drove it home, no light on.
Before all this I’d tried all usual places for a new lambda, best I could get was 340 from Poland. ICP out of stock but with import duty be way above the other price if it even was in stock.
So I asked a pal in work who knows many things!
His knowledge of parts frightened me and all the websites he knows!
Long story short… he made a call and I’d a new denso air/fuel lambda arrive the next day for 170 euro.
A spare for another day
NCT booked for Saturday week.
Drove it to work for a clear out…
No change!
