Replaced the middle section (with cat) and H&S backbox with fully decat 3" Kakimoto system...

Holy jaysus its fucking loud

I've no idea how all you guys with Kakimoto can live with this kind of noise every day.

The middle section actually has 2 mufflers but still noisy as hell, not sure if I like it!

I think the Type-R has much worse sound deadening inside the cabin, than the newage.. as I remember driving with mac mac on Mondello track and it wasn't as loud! He's got Kakimoto as well as far as I remember?

i think your right sure there is even fu*k all steel in a type r thats why they are so light ,i think ross has one alright did ya drive it ?is it very loud inside the car

Ya I drove it around the town a bit. To be honest to me it's almost unbearable noisy inside + attracting too much attention around haha, I had got the overrun pops and bangs mapped by Simon before and now its paying off as well lol

Over 4k rpm its roaring like it wanted to eat everything in front of it..

I was complaining to be the most silent car on isdc trackdays last year and now I got this in return ha

annoying tbh if its too loud around town if ya change the middle section for something else might help or look for a swap

kaki moto, loud yes , pops and bangs ,yes . im 50/50 whether id go for a far quietier volume system as it does draw attention , even at low speeds . and then when opened up , it roars . thats the good part but would consider a more stealth sounding car ,instead of being heard from so far away . only earlier today i was in MCG(local car shop) in kells and was eyeing up a adjustable silincer . and wondered if fitted to a no-catted system would it affect back pressure or the likes as exit hole would be reduced from 4.5 to about 1.5 inchs . any one know ????

I got the side skirts that I got off Baz painted, now my splitters match my skirts
Also painted the whole front bumper and front splitter to get rid of stone chips and the like
