Looks great man, what did you use?View attachment 138058
Just a small bit of proper headlight restoration, previous attempts with a 'kit' failed after a few days. Let's see how this time goes.
A hard foam backed wool pad on a DA with two passes of Meguiars ultimate compound. Then a single pass with softer foam pad and polish.Looks great man, what did you use?
Very good.A hard foam backed wool pad on a DA with two passes of Meguiars ultimate compound. Then a single pass with softer foam pad and polish.
Had used the Meguiars restoration kit previously but hazed the following day.
yeah, I was afraid of the heavy hit of sanding so tried compound and polish. A quick ceramic coating too will hopefully help it hold. I'll try that next though if I need to. Thanks.Very good.
I've used the Autoglym kit quite a few times, sandpaper on a drill etc and then foam pads and finally polishing.
But heavy hitting but once you get it nice and flat and clear, they hold for a while.
Last time around tho thanks to a members tip, I just used Autoglym Paint Renovator on a microfiber and it worked a treat. Just to take off the haze. 5 mins only![]()
