Yeah, I have to or won’t pass emissions.
I try to run 2 or 3 tanks without it.
Not pushing the car hard.

Prepped roof for ceramic coating - actually did that last week - washed and a coat of Wax today.
Was unsure of ceramic coating ( have the kit since '23) so decided to just do the roof and see how it performs over the winter.
Going by how it beads on the rinse, it's looks really good. See how long it lasts...

Yeah- but, there french seats, so probably be ok for about 3/4 months and then will stop working, leatherette will start to peel off and cloth will rip when you look at it sideways and then when you bring it back to complain, they will tell you that " you were obviously sitting too hard"
And then take 9-12 months to get a replacement.

Changed oil, all filters, battery and inspected the car from bellow. Slight rust on the rear subframe and a little bit of leak from gearbox oil pan, need to keep an eye on that, but should be easy enough fix if it keeps leaking.

From experience, if ya want good seats just pay for the ones you want , anything else you’ll just take them out eventually

I think you can get the Recaro Sportster CS seats new at reasonable-ish money. Subaru option is cheaper than the Renault/Peugeot because of no need for side impact airbags. Should be one or two Irish suppliers who can get you a quote for them.

Charged the battery in this overnight, it hasn't been driven since march when the nct was up, goin the nct it and tax it for 3 months and bankrupt myself at the pumps

New Calipers arrived this morning. Get them sprayed red before fitting.
Anyone recommend front pads ( with links to buy ) won't be doing track days, just decent ones

Since passing in July, I only got to December 2026. So put it through again today and got over 2 years. Happy days
Next up over to Larkin for a full service/ health check/ new calipers.

Also anyone know what's involved changing the tax band. Come January it should be 56euro but assuming there is paper work to done.

It’s the same on the tax on anything, you over pay they will keep taking the money and say nothing until it’s copped
