It's all a lot more complex. I'll copy and paste a post when I find it but basically all stations have to do is prove that their source has been tested to be 95 Ron. This is allowed to drop to an "in car" MON of 84.7 from the researched 95Ron. E5 has been pulled altogether. It's not 95% Petrol + 5% ethanol.
With Maxol maximum you're looking at is a pure petrol Ron of 92 and they bring it up to 95Ron with biofuels as there's tax relief on these fuels as opposed to the heavy duty on petrol.
Maxol themselves state that they have >90% starting rate of Gasoline, 0-15% Toulene (Octane Booster) <10% ETBE (Ethanol replacement. Unlike ethanol, ETBE does not induce evaporation of gasoline, which is one of the causes of smog, and does not absorb moisture from the atmosphere.) <2%n-Hexane (dehydrated Hexanol which is soluble in Ethanol or possibly the ETBE in Maxols case. <1% Benzene (Extremely high octane rating but limited in use due to how carcinogenic it is.)
So you have 90% gasoline and Maxol bring this to a Ron of 95 by mixing any of the above while not going over their percentages allowed. So while all batches are 95RON, the MON rating in some mixtures can be lower. High MON is crucial when giving her the beans and reaching high revs and full boosht! Petrol and Toulene is what the F1 Turbo powerplants ran on in the olden days of the late 80's and when they went 3.5 V10 and V12 in the early 90's
As for Texaco, they use the same supply as Esso. Esso are actually the suppliers and in Ireland their trade supply is Dublin Joint Fuels. Once the tankers for Texaco take fuel from Esso it's brought to CC Lubricants Ltd in Laois to have the Techron added. You can even buy Techron in concentrate bottle to add yourself, just as you would an Octane Booster.
So if your car likes Esso, it'll love Texaco.
How it works and FAQ's on Techron

Applegreen don't provide an SDS on their petrol and it's additives or percentages.
Topaz do. 95RON and 85MON. Additives consist of 1% Benzene 3% Methanol 5% Ethanol 10% Iso-propyl alcohol 10% Iso-butyl alcohol 7% Tetra-butyl Alcohol 15% Ethers (5 or more C atoms) 10% Other Oxygenates.
So at times, a topaz mix is 39% Gasoline and 61% is a mix of alcohols and bio-fuels.
RON = Determined by running the fuel in a test engine with a variable compression ratio under controlled conditions, and comparing the results with those for mixtures of iso-octane and n-heptane.
MON = Determined at 900 rpm engine speed instead of the 600 rpm for RON. MON testing uses a similar test engine to that used in RON testing, but with a preheated fuel mixture, higher engine speed, and variable ignition timing to further stress the fuel's knock resistance. Depending on the composition of the fuel, the MON of a modern pump gasoline will be about 8 to 12 octane lower than the RON, but there is no direct link between RON and MON. Pump gasoline specifications typically require both a minimum RON and a minimum MON.
AKI. AKI refers to a fuels sensitivity between it's MON and RON ratings. Also called PON in some countries (Posted Octane Number). While normally the MON is 8-12 points lower than the RON, it's not always the case. You can have a reasonably high RON fuel and it has a low MON.
For AVCS, VVTI, VTEC etc, you want a good MON but you also want a good stable gasoline base with a consistent and stable gasoline percentage and RON.
Canada, the United States, Brazil, and some other countries post the PON on the pumps.
The RON/MON values of n-heptane and iso-octane are exactly 0 and 100, respectively, by the definition of octane rating.
Here's a nice fuel table.
