Anyone recommend somewhere for window tints ?

Used Vision a long time ago and had no issues with them :thumbsup:

Is there such a thing as a mobile service ??

Looking to get rear windows and rear screen done ...... What would I expect to pay ??

Give this man a call. Say you have a subaru. He has promotion till 30/5/11. normally he charge 120E, but you might be lucky to get 40% discount.

I was under the impression they took a lux reading from inside the vehicle so that would depend on the level/darkness of tints on any windows, not only the back three ?
 
is there anyone around the dublin/kildare area that calls out and would do windows at you garage.. :ponder:

i read somewhere before that the limit is 35% on front so including a natural tint which every car has so any film tint will bring it over the limit.

I would have thought that window tinting would need to be done in a fairly dust free environment so a mobile service kind of puts doubts into how they can do that...

Dave, did you get back any prices yet as I want to get the leggy done and also the missus car
 
Went with Vision in Walkinstown in the end.

Had used them before and so had friends and I knew i would be in good hands :thumbsup:

They were a bit dearer than most @ €150 for what I wanted (€120 seemed the average price having looked around)

Job was done yesterday morning and can't fault them :thumbsup:
 
Throw up some pics of the finished job

Might help other lads decide where they are goin to get theirs done

Tom, he's done that on regular bases also working with other companies, windows are prepared and cleaned of any dirt, stickers to make sure that the windows are clean, he's done mine at my house and im very happy with it, but its entirely up to you, i advise you decide... :thumbsup:

Vitalie, thanks for the feedback...I just know from trying to put a new screen protector on my tablet that any spec of dust puts a bubble under it so would have thought putting window film on outdoors would be a big task with dust around.

If I give him a call and mention 'vitalie' will he know who I'm talking about? I want to get both cars done so it would make it worth his while to do them at the same time if he could
