would you rather a 400bhp hatch spec c or a 1 owner low mileage standard 22b

22B for me.. I don't like the hatch so even if it had 1000 bhp I'd still not like the look of it

Hatch spec-c for Me but only because You said it Has to be an every day driver.
Otherwise defo 22b.

BUT I would take a hawk spec-C over the hatch spec-C any day :smokin:

now Me stop dreaming, sit back to the Van for every day drive :icon_grin:
 
Lads ... as Dec originally said... it's t be used... not stored. So it aint a daily driver by any means... it' just not to become a museum piece!


Stil 22B for me all day long!

as jamie said its not a museum piece! would be for trackdays ,trips to the ring and your favourite back road in anger so would ye still pick the 13 year old standard car albeit a legend in subaru fans eyes or the new highly modded track beast that has everything modded appropriately,that could out handle a super car any day .????

spec c without a doubt, never got the hype about the 22b's and the stupid price tag that came with them. i will probably get slated for saying that but thats just my opinion

A 22b couldn't be justified as an every day car
A 22b would get destroyed as an every day car! While we as enthusiasts know how iconic they are, I know 90% of the general public wouldn't give a stuff!!!
Door dings etc in car parks, trolly dings, micra reversing marks, the list just goes on and on!
Could ya really do that to the 22b?

It would wreck your head on a hatch! It would make ye want to cry on the 22b
 
As above. People voting with hearts and not heads.

everyday driver 22b is possible to do same as a type r would be. Its the value that would be where questions come into play and reliabilty and damage etc

But as Dec has said... it's not being used as an every day car... it's for track, B-road and day trip blasts!!! :dontknow:
 
Could you have a 22B and not want to use it as a daily driver tho?
I don't think I could!!!

For me a spec c is just about perfect in that it could be used to fairy the family around in relative comfort, and if I want a bit of balls out flyin round "b" roads it would be a switch between maps and away ya go!!!
 
22B for me.im not afraid of ''spoiling'' the car once i do it myself and its not been done before me.

A 400bhp car would be too much hassle if i didnt have the funds to maintain it!
