Hey,
So since I have joined the club and so on, I am wondering if there is any gain of tweaking ECU without any mods?
So I got 2.0l non-turbo impreza from 2007, my guess is, that its got EJ201 engine, but not sure(will check today evening when I get home). I know that some car manufacturers set the ECU that there is some small amount it can go further without any other modifications. So, my question is, would this car be in same category, or the one made by manufacturer is already top for the setup?
Also what kind of tweaks can I do on such car, that will not be pricy(relatively) and will allow me to gain little boost.
I know that some ppl told me that getting 2.0 is not the right way if I want to 'mod' it, and it can get very expensive, generally more than getting stronger car... Well, lets say I am not thinking getting 500hp out of that car... it should be 160hp at this moment, and lets say, getting to 180-200hp would be satisfaction for me
Its more of a 'knowing what I can do' than 'I want to have a beast'.
Thanks
