Well then we dont want to work on your car. The amount of customers trying to save money. Try convince you use parts of lower quality etc is more then you think.

Spot on. If parts weren't safe or couldn't be installed safe, garage should have said no.
 
Seen another big name in the scooby world under fire on scooby net over cars going in for engine builds and cars gone 6 months and more

ill be gettin mine remapped at indigo gt in wales waiting in premises and in back of the car when mapping complete with rr print out i trust no one

That's just shocking .

I absolutely hate giving my car to someone I've always worked on my own stuff since I started driving. 2 cars I had were in 2 different garages getting timing belts and came back damaged , since then I just tried to do my own stuff.

Had a bad experience with an engine build around August last year that nearly ended the whole Subaru thing for me but the builder looked after me .

Not long after that the water pump failed (trying to save money as davelegacy was saying) and I was under pressure in work so I got davelegacy in RSR to do it . Work was 100% . Could not fault it. And car did a 6500km trip around Europe just after that .

****s like the above in the first post shouldn't be in business.

When working on cars like this you should treat as your own .

setup rob em blind
close up go somewhere else repeat
best one ever I seen
tell customer needs new engine
keep car there a while
bring in to wash bay
wash engine
return to customer
take 1400 punts
robbed the locals for 5 years
moved 6 mile up the road in Dublin that's a big gap to rob did the same
still going
that's just one lad I know ex land lord years ago
And that was one customer of many

Here! I'd also add Mark from Lateral Performance to the bunch mentioned above. Always most helpful and reliable.

Alan and Martyn from Enginetuner are legends and were most helpful in sorting my recent Ecu problems with Alcatek, even if they really had no business out of it. Never heard a bad word spoken of them.

TBH I never had any direct dealings with RCM, but I heard about several people who've been ripped off by them, including one guy who paid £12k for engine build, which then blew up on their own rollers only to be asked to pay further 3900 for new parts to get the car running...
