pros and cons of buying a b4?

i think mostly jap imports. I could bring you for a spin in mine but since your leaning towards the older gen 3's there might be no point. only 1 gen iv turbo i see for sale and it looks a bit naff!

Now that optimistic for that legacy, even if it would not have been scangarised. There was a nice red one 05 for sale in limerick for 7k awhile ago

I'll work it out for definite later, 530km is the most I got out of a tank, from brimming it to nearly empty. Ive to fill it after work so I'll get the calculator out
[/quote]

http://www.mpg-calculator.co.uk/

530km is only 328 miles.

Even using 56 litres for the petrol tank( I'm pretty sure that's impreza tank and the B4 has 63) that's 26 mpg

I reckon it's more like 23.

I stand corrected dagnut :wall:
I converted Kilometers per litre to mpg instead of litres per100 km
I'll keep on telling the other half that it does 30 though! :subaru:

Sorry to burst the bubble dude....still reckon 23 is Ok for a B4

Dan that silver twinscroll is from around my area and is actually very clean carbon wrap was only done recently and no damage on it at all he also has a silver bug done the exact same way

85 euro to fill the tank and petrol light came on at 320klms all done under 80 kph
Dont know if thats good or bad i normaly dont pay attention to how many miles i get
15 min spin in the mountains and qtr of a tank is gone.
But worth it every time :multijump:

Em...how much are u paying for fuel it's 1.71 here, so multiply by 63 = 107 quid to fill dat beast den. 600 klm to full of tank sounded nicer lol, but it's not economy as such im looking for, but dont want it to be a complete dog on fuel either.

Any on donedeal that I should stay away from that any of you know has got badly abused?

mate best thing to do if one catches your eye on donedeal is post the link on here and see if anyone knows the car and can give ya info

i filled mine yesterday, did 30kms with petrol light on, it took 91 euro to fill. i think fuel was 169.9 @ maxol portlaoise

@scoobyturbo,either youre very very heavy footed or somethings wrong. Ive had B4s and never failed to get 500km with mixed driving in either. And have seen 600km a couple of times

How many litres you reckon the tank has? I think the later rev d's have an even bigger tank..67 litres

so 30klms ont he light wud leave shag all left, so u got 53.8 liters so i guess it could be in the 55-60 liter range, but like dagnut siad rev-d could have bigger tank.

just read this......http://www.carfolio.com/specifications/models/car/?car=81576 tank capacity of a 01 b4 rsk is 64 liters :shock2:

The term "sold as seen" isnt the most encouraging in the third add. Here's a screenshot of the roadtrip app on the first 20,000 kms after i got the rev d. Took the shot coz i got 32mpg!! On the motorway, if you sit just under 120kph, you'll get over 30 mpg. I get about 23/24 around town but it being an auto doesnt help.

no the whole sold as seen wasnt too encouraging, neither was the no warrenty....talk about scaring anyone interested off??maybe sold, cant say for sure.

even that being an auto, still hit the 30 mark a few times

The blue one was mine just sold it today pitty i had not red this ad sooner i would of give you a run in it to see what you think. Hope you get what you want there is a few bad ones out there most of the guys who really respect there cars are members on here

You would be doing well to get near 400 a tank never mind 500km i think its only got around a 50 ltr tank its a ba*tard on petrol i have seen lads on uklegacy only getting the same as me.
Mostly the gen 2 legacy as well.
Think the later models are prob better on fuel than mine.
