A lad I know had this car from about 06-13. The car was left lying up for a while. He sold it for about 3.5k. Since then I've seen it back up for sale a few different times at almost twice that money. When it was originally brought it into Ireland it was mapped by tdp amd had a few bits done amd was running nice power. It also had a lovely set of volks wheels on it they were swapped for rotas when it was sold.

Seems like a decent bit of work has been done since the last time it was up for sale though.

Only in the country for the last 1.5-2 years the owner said.
 
Wonder who built the forged engine. Don't know many forged rb engines using 10w60.
 
Says in advert Martin Tracey built the engine... and he has an excellent reputation and my experiences with him are top notch.

Only... the pictures of the engine being "build"... on an old tyre... not exactly Martin's style or level of workshop.

I was hoping I wasn't the only one to spot it. An engine wouldn't be leaving his build room split with internals exposed to outside air like that.

I must be wrong so. Same colour car and very similar reg if its not it. Have a pic of the car I was talking about that I must find to check the reg.

If this was only imported recently would it not have a 97D120XXX plate? I only copped on to imports having these regs recently

Those photos were taken when delivered to the owner. Martin built it and shipped it to the owner

Only going by what the owner said. You could be right. Who knows sure
