What did you do to your car today?

Car is finally back on the road after 7months off. Feels great! All small jobs done, refurb the calibers myself just need to order new pads. Everyone seems to be happy with the ds2500 so will sort that next month. Tax paid up for the year and all.

Installed wideband AFR gauge, needed soemthing to fill the gap beside the oil temp/pressure gauge,

Fits in nicely and you can close the cubby door when you dont want to look at them

Handy there was already a bung in the Milltek downpipe:

secured cable out of the way and ran it in though the main wiring loom grommet, needed to loosen off the aircon blower to get the cables into the cabin, but all sorted now

U can connect them up to ur laptop while mapping or logging to get real time AFR info. Joe recommended it to me for helping to get map spot on with new round of mods

Again its not what i did, the car park W****R strikes again, this time its the passenger quarter panel, no idea how it happened but they got it just as good if now worse than the last P***C, no marks on the bumper at all so id say it was a high up yoke like a jeep or the likes

Disaster Danny :angry1:

I put silicone spray on the 4 window regs and they now actually go up and down properly , if I had left the rears the motors would have burnt out I reckon

got some holts gun gum yesterday for the holes in the exhaust, sounds sweet again.....
ordered a new standard center section and standard back box from a local exhaust and windscreen place today...
gonna fit them for the nct and might even leave them on afterwards , I must be getting old....

the thing is im too used to driving quiet comfy cars the past 3 years and any time I go for a quick blast in the RS I get pains in me head and me back afterwards

bit the bullet and bought set of bc racing coilovers for sti to solve the knocking and improve the stance of ca, arrived today with new pollen filter, happy days :stismiley

Good Man!

What spring rates did you go for and did you go for the rubber top mounts or the pillow-ball with adjuster plates?

... don't forget to post an update once fitted to let us know how you like them! :049:

keadeen, spring rates are front 6kg/rear 5kg, appartently best fast road set up for daily driving ( i know f'all about coilovers tbh), they are advertised as pillow ball with adjusters but as you can tell from photo's rears have rubber top mounts, i read somewhere that bc having recently addressed knocking issues on these coilovers by fitting rubber rear top mounts, ill let you know how they feel once fitted which wont be for another two weeks or so, wagon dec is fitting and setting them up for me- very mixed reviews on them in blobs and hawkeye sti's, general view is good value for money but some lads hate them especially the yanks for some reason
