Insured her, it was a tedious task. Being 21 with a medical condition on a Impreza isn't the best combo. The cheapest I could get was 1800 from Munster Group. Rennco came in at 5600, Alianz at 2800, Liberty at 2900 and AxA at 3000 so remember, it pays to shop! FBD came in at 7000, they kept saying Imprezas were in the same category as Ferraris and Porsches. Blah blah

Biggest problem for insurers is the amount of jap yokes that came in as 2.0 na cars and we're insured as such and only came to light after an accident that it was a turbo car . I remember the battle I had trying to insure my first impreza a 1.6 and then the ball ache of changing from that to the 2.0 . Even getting a quote was hard let alone paying it . Down to 700 on the sti last year though . Hopefully be the same this year as it's near impossible to find another insurer to take on an sti

I have an RX and just asked what would it be if I owned a Rexie and got 4k. I'll build up some no claims then hopefully find a nice Rexie hawk. They kept asking if it was imported and standard right hand drive with no mods. Sick of answering questions. Insuring is a pain!
