What did you do to your car today?

250 Euro to remove and refit the tint on 3 Windows that's what I was quoted wasn't Richie what do you think I made the price up ????

Cars looking well! how are them Toyos holding up?


Must of been wires crossed on this as we generally charge €10-15 per window to remove tints.

For instance a guy was in last saturday paid €150 for back 3 windows removal of tints and windows retinted.

Anyway hope you got sorted!:thumbsup:
 
When I was getting my windows tinted out in yours Richie about a month or so back (you wernt in) got a call saying it would be 75 to remove the tints that were on it on top of the 135 for the rear tints.

One of the young lads told me this price

Yea tyres are great top job thanks again man.
About the tint,I rang a few weeks ago for a quote and that's what I was told, I have it on a post it in the office and to be honest I was dropping the car out to get you to do it as I haven't got a clue on what it should cost until I seen a post on here saying 10euro to remove.
I have been doing business with you since you were in Fairview a good few years ago with wheels and tyres for the old car some whiteline stuff and tyres only a few weeks ago for the 106 as I find you great to deal with and always knock a few quid off.
Maybe someone got there wires crossed but I definitely asked the guy twice and the same price was quoted.
I have another member on here pm me saying it's damaging your business posting that sort of stuff and if it was my business would I be happy.
I'm sorry for any bad publicity but I was just stating what I was told.

Hi Chris,

Yeah as i said in the post above its generally 10-15 per side window but can be more for certain cars with large windows (civic be €10 bmw €15 etc)

But 5 windows x 15 is €75 so he was spot on, obviously when you come down and get it done we would try look after you but generally on the phone is worst case scenario as often we will get "eh well you told me cheaper on the phone"!

Hi Keith, any publicity is good publicity they say :icon_grin:

i've had a chat with the lads and we've gone over the prices so they are all clear, so at least it wont happen again, glad to hear the good feedback on everything else though, hopefully will do more business again soon! :thumbsup:

Don't take offence Richie! My comment was towards the spiralling effect the forum can take rather than any fault on your part!
I had dealings with you a few years ago when you were one of the traders on this forum and was always happy with your business!
