Advice on what to do (bodyshop)

Received more pictures this morning. U-Pol/Raptor going in wheel arches and front wings.

Going to go to the bodyshop tomorrow to have a look and ask about bumpers, side skirts, door handles, roof vent, spoilers and bonnet vents because I don't see those done yet.

It's going to be black in the wheel arches. That was my choice. You can see in the last picture he had it blue and I didn't like how it looked. The complete underside is blue raptor though.

Dropped up to the bodyshop this morning for a look. Holy molly its beautiful. Even without a polish yet it looks fantastic. There are a couple of fish eyes and tiny runs in the lacquer but all easily sorted according to the guy. Plan is to have the rest of the small bits and pieces (door handles, roof scoop, spoilers, side skirts, bonnet vents, bumpers, mirrors, window trims) sprayed this Saturday.
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for this phase of the rebuild anyway.

Class , the finishing will tidy up all the blemishes, wet sanding and buffing, will look unreal then

Getting the run around so no change there. 6 weeks since the main body of the car was sprayed. since then I keep being told the car will be finished in a few days and it's not. I'll be going to the garage tomorrow to see what the situation is.
I'm fully expecting to go there tomorrow and see the bumpers, vents, spoiler and door handles not even in primer never mind painted.

Will be back with an update tomorrow.

Update November 2nd 2023

Dropped up to the bodyshop this morning. The windscreen and rear window have gone back in including the trim surrounds. The side window trim surround is not painted. He told me by text the matt finish clear coat has been hard to get and he's waiting for it to come from the UK. He's only had 2 years to order paint
Both bumpers, door handles, spoiler, bonnet vents, roof vent, mirrors and side skirts have one coat of primer and are being rubbed down again for final coat of primer.

The guy wasn't there himself so I couldn't get an idea of when this is going to be finished. It would not surprise me if the car is still there in January.

I'm not joking lad...but you better bring this car to an event next year. We've all been following this for almost 12 months, I EXPECT to see it at the AGM
All joking aside...do. sign up as a full member, start a blog, put all the work in there, keep it all in the one spot, and get it to some events
Would LOVE to see it out and about after all this

Absolutely I intend to take it to events and drive it regularly. It won’t be a garage queen. Next step is an engine build so there is still a bit of work to be done yet.
