Just don't bring it to Predator. Open the bonnet and follow all your boost pipes and vacuum lines for a start. If nothing amiss check the flash codes and see if anything comes back.

Is it worth paying for a local diagnostics fella To plug in for €90?
Otherwise I've a buddy who will drop it at the Subaru dealership for €50 and plug in at dealership is €40
So same price, what's the better option? Dealership really necessary ?
 
Wait for mark Murphy. Generic code reader may not pull the code correctly and you'll end up having to bring it somewhere else again.
 
I did fill up my tank with maxol fuel and added 50ml millers octane booster previous to the problem (an hour prior)
Could it be bad fuel causing the issue? Fuel filter clogged?

Mark Murphy is getting the car Friday but won't look at it till Monday
 
Did you check the maf,happened to my bug before just stoppedand wouldn't start,try unplug it and start it see does that help
 
What i did with mine rich was unplug it with engine off try it for start with it unplugged,if it starts as normal knock it off it will rule it out at least

Unplug it when engines off
Start engine - if it starts it means the MAF is ok and nothing is wrong with it?
If it doesn't start with MAF unplugged the MAF is fecked?
 
How i knew mine was gone rich with it unpkugged and try for a start straight away she fired but plugged in would just turn over but wouldnt go at all
 
If it'll start for him and then he unplugs it and there's no change in how it's running would that be the same Gordon?

Do newage not have flash codes like the classics?
 
The way mine was john with it plugged in it just turned over and unplugged and try for start fired staright away and no iirc there is no flash code for them like the classics
 
When it's cold and you turn on the engine it ticks over fine as normal but once you press accelerator it starts idling lumpy again. No issues until you press accelerator.

The car is getting lifted to mark murphys tomorrow and will be looked at on Monday. Really missing my car now and hoping it's something small.
 
When my fuel pump went it would still prime and start and I could feather the throttle to slowly build revs but as soon as the foot went down it went all lumpy and spluttering.

Diagnostic specialist today


Rear o2 sensor showed up on live data. Voltage is all over the place. Heater element is gone

Rest of the cars data is all 100%

Good place to start, and hopefully finish. O2 sensir shoulnt eat ur wallet
