The guards found the car abandoned, hopefully it was just good timing b4 the scumbags came back, my only real worry is that the reason it was abandoned is because they blew the engine or a turbo

I know how you feel mate-happened me 7 years ago. My idea was to use fencing posts to spear thieves naked to the ground through both arms and legs,get some fresh meat and a couple of rottweilers,douse the whole lot in petrol and leave a trail of it about 100m long and as you walk away-throw a match. Maybe im psychotic?????
 
Right lads, got the car back home. Went down to collect the car this morning, bits were all over the place and I'd no way of starting it. They rifled through the car, stole my MP4 player and my licence, and to my suprise the bootmat :ponder: :ponder: :lol:

I rang Davelegacy who picked the car up in his lorry and took it back home for me. Once home, we got the out the screwdriver set and tried to start it with no joy, lights came on but engine wouldnt turn over, dave found that the ignition fuse was blown so we replaced it with another 1 and the engine still wouldnt turn over at all. Dave thought it might be the starter motor burnt out so we gave it a push start and she came to life, sounded fine so think the engine is ok. Then she went and cut out, the same fuse blew again so there must be a wire touching ground somewhere or something.

It appears that this was the only reason that they left it, it must have cut out after the fuse blew and they couldnt restart it. Just glad it was in a built up area, if they were in the middle of nowhere at the time they couldve just torched it. Other than that there is a small bit of damage to the front bumper which is barely noticeable and to the roof where they stuck a screwdriver in trying to open the door even though its not part of the door...idiots....small dent and the paint is chipped. Now to get it repaired and back to her best and fit a clifford alarm first thing

Looks like I got away relatively lightly considering what could have happened. Just a note to any new members/owners, get some serious deterrents asap, dont think that "it'll never happen to me". It appears I got away lucky enough but it could've been so much worse
 
Good to see you got her back in one peace man. Hope she is back to norm ASAP! :)

as i said earlier your lucky to still have her.. and from initial checks engine seems fine too...
so basically this is the best result possible from wat happened.
