2020 Toyota GR Yaris detailed - plus our prototype drive

It’s a very special car and I think the majority of us would be glad to have one in the drive. I’d absolutely love one , maybe in a few years when the price comes down a bit and sell up all the sh*t boxes

ITDC Barry 😆

probably one for a different thread but when was the last time someone bought a new performance subaru car in ireland, was it as far back as 2008? I know there is one 2015 irish registered sti knocking about bought but even that was bought in NI.
maybe ICSDC irish classic Subarus ...

Paul , Made no sense to buy them even if you could afford the €2350 a year tax , Imprezas , evos gone over night pretty much .

I thought long and hard about it before I switched to an rs, I could have bought an sti but I just couldn't stump the tax and the fact no one would ever buy the car when it came to sell

I’d be more likely to pay it on a s206 or gtr. or something a bit more special but much harder to pay on a standard sti

Well I am after watching a few videos now on these seem a great little car that as we have not driven one probably underestimate it but it very agile good power to weight ratio which benefits over the rs in video that Paul just posted up. So my guess is you won't be straining your eyes looking in the rear view mirror on a rip its definitely Scooby quick. maybe rally school ireland buy one we all get a go 😉

Wonder does the Tom’s version address the high seating position
dont think so

rs seating position was criticised and they lowered in later produced cars

I had a good look at the base of the seats in the ge, I'm not an engineer but part or the frame seems to be raised for the seats, doesnt look easy to just lower the seat with rails.

Apex in Nürburg are looking at lowering the seats in their rental if it will pass TUV over there
